The Farm

One farm. One valley.

Every stem is grown on one family estate in Edna Valley, a few miles from the Pacific. Never brokered.

Fully organic, in a dry coastal climate where lavender thrives.

The growers

A farm, not a supplier.

Gio and Lisa Coglitore cut every row themselves. We take the whole harvest, and the farm stays closed to everyone else.

How it is made

A bee working a stem of lavender on the estate

01

Grown

Rows face the ocean fog. Warm days, cold nights, sandy soil. The plant does slowly what a lab does fast.

Bundles of lavender hung to dry, gathered by hand

02

Cut by hand

A few weeks each July. Every bundle cut before the heat, out of the field the same hour.

03

Dried and distilled

Bundles rest in the dark of the barn until the bud lets go. Then distilled and filled in San Luis Obispo County.
