Accessibility

We want the site to work for everyone who visits it.

This site aims at WCAG 2.1 level AA. What that means in practice:

  • Text is checked for contrast against every colour it sits on.
  • Every page can be used by keyboard, and focus is always visible.
  • Photography carries descriptions, and decorative images are marked as such.
  • Video is muted, carries no essential information, and does not load at all if you have asked your device to reduce motion. The same setting turns off every animation here.
  • Headings run in order, so screen readers can move through a page properly.

If something here is hard to use, tell us what happened and what you were using, and we will fix it. Write to the house.
